Our Pastor

Pastor James Peterson was ordained at First Lutheran Church on June 23rd, 2019. He and his wife Michela arrived in June 2019 after moving from Fort Wayne, Indiana. They have three daughters. Pastor Peterson received his Bachelor's Degree from Concordia University Nebraska in May 2015, having learned Greek and Hebrew and other Pre-Seminary courses there. He then received his Master's of Divinity Degree from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana, in May 2019. He is excited about the opportunities to do ministry here in Phillipsburg at First Lutheran Church.
