Little Lutherans

The Little Lutheran Liturgy

On Wednesdays this school year at 6 PM, the Little Lutherans (3-12 yo) meet downstairs for the Little Lutheran Liturgy. We will hear God's Word in children's sermons; we will recite the Catechism together as we do on Sunday mornings; and we will pray and sing to our Lord new songs.

Older children may volunteer to light the candles and take an offering. We will collect prayer requests each night and pray for each by name.

In November and December, we will practice for the Little Lutheran Christmas Program. The Program will be part of a 10 AM worship service in December.

After worship, the children will head to their classrooms for crafts, snacks, and activities for the remainder of the lesson that night.

"From Heaven Above" was a recent Children's Christmas Program. We begin practicing throughout the months of November and December and cannot wait to tell the story of Jesus' birth to our congregation and community.

The Little Lutheran Library has been established for the children of our congregation. This ongoing project seeks to fill the shelves with children's Bibles, catechisms, hymnals, Arch Books, and many other resources to "read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest."
